Ya know, after awhile, the movies seem to lose their interest in a way >.< Like 14 was pretty sweet and all but I'm kind just wanting Gosho to get on with the plot again .__. Filler is fine and all but it feels like ages since he had a real good and strong episodes pertaining to the plot >__<;;

That time of the year is coming up, aka, the time a movie of DC is released ^^
It's the 15 movie = 15 years going on!The 15th movie is called the "Quarter of Silence" and will be released on April 16th.
Plot
The governor of Tokyo gets a threat letter and the subway he later travels on explodes and kills him. As Conan investigates, he realizes that this present day mystery ties in with a mystery that occurred eight years ago in a mountain town. A young boy by the name of Touma Tachihara fell into an abyss and lost consciousness. He had only just awoken, but remembers nothing of his past. Conan soon realizes that the key to solving this mystery lies within the boy's forgotten past, and tries desperately to revive Touma's memories. But an even darker threat looms ahead as a large dam located near the mountain town is rigged with time bombs and there are only fifteen minutes before all the bombs blow and the town is crushed in a torrent of water. In a desperate race against time, Conan must perform one of his most daring rescue missions and cheat death in a heart-pounding survival mystery.

Well, ya know those really nice wallpapers in the normal Detective Conan section? When I joined they were part of this gallery and were actually like the highlighted and featured works (those really awesome one... lol). I just remember those cuz they stood out.
If ya wanna throw more in there, ya can put my Conan vector I made too (already linked DC on it even though I didn't "submit" it lol). Just thought there had been more gallery-ness lol

When I look at images for the series, I also like the anime art style a lot better, though the manga sometimes has its moments of glory.
Again, no worries about the spoiler, I'm basically just waiting for a boring weekend to do a LOT of catching up haha.
The calendar looks good and I recognize some key anime episodes and stuff too, which is pretty cool. I love getting more images of DC to add to my collection since they're actually kind of hard to find nowadays.
Btw, what happened to all the graphics in the gallery? Coulda sworn there were some more wallpapers and other stuff =O

Ouch, sorry, I really didn't meant to spoil you! >.< Since that chapter is from around a month ago, it somehow felt like old news to me and I blurted it out as if nothing ;__; Even if you don't follow it day to day, you might want to try out the case called "Holme's Apprendice", it actually take place in London and Shinichi makes an appearance :D It's from File 743 till File 752, meaning a whole volume for it alone! And I have no doubt he got an idea on the ending, I mean, it's been going on for so long already that he should have thought about it aha~ But as said, I really think we still got a few more years of DC in front of us ;)
What did you think about the 2011 calendar? It was actually a lot better than what I imagined and I recognized many key scenes from the manga (but in anime version, damn, now I feel like watching them animated >.<). -

You know, ya toooootally just spoiled that Shinichi confessing thing XD hahahah I haven't been keepin' up with the manga lately cuz I like to sit and wait before I go on a rampage reading the mangas. Of course, I don't really mind since I love spoilers =p

Though you're right that not many can keep a forum-type-thing goin' for DC... though I'll admit it still makes me uber happy to watch/read it =DSo for those that wanna be semi-active, any theories on how many more episodes/volumes there will be? =O
Glad you like the new look ^^ The group looks a bit refreshed now, it's a great feeling~
And I'm pretty much the same: I always buy the manga each time a new volume is released (I got 62 vol now :D) and watch the movies (I haven't been watching the TV series episodes for an eternity now >.<) but I hardly imagine myself staying day and night going around forums and such aha~

As for how many volumes of Conan there's gonna be...I sort of gave up on thinking about that after the 10th year following it XD XD XD Now, seriously, I've known about DC since around 1997-1998, meaning close to 13 years now, and from what I can see Aoyama is in absolutely no hurry to finish it off...as I see it, in the best case, we'll get 10 more volumes at least, meaning 80 in total ^^;
It's awesome that Shinichi finally confessed his feelings to Ran though, took him long enough! =__= I was also expecting there would be a moment Ran would finally guess that Conan=Shinichi and that the manga would continue for a while with her knowing about it, but it seems like Aoyama got no such a thing in mind, will she be kept in the dark till the very end than? -
